You may find yourself in a situation where you need to add a variant to one of your products.
In the following guide, we will show you how to add a variant in two cases:
1. Adding a new variant from the same supplier you are currently using
2. Adding a new variant from another supplier
Adding variant to your product

Click on the product you want to add variant to.
Scroll down to Product options and select an attribute where you want to add a variant then click the Edit option.
In the pop-up window, you can enter the name of the new variant you want to add.
Type in the new variant name you want to add.
Click Apply to save changes.
You can edit variant information in Manage Variants by clicking Edit.
Don’t forget to Save.
Mapping from the same supplier
Go back to DSers – My Products and access the Mapping Page on the product card.
You can see the newly added variant appears in the product but is empty.

Mapping from another supplier
In case your current supplier doesn’t sell the newly added variant, you can import another supplier that sells it.
Go to AliExpress and copy the URL of a product with the variant you newly added.
Paste the URL in the Import box and click on Import.
The new supplier will appear in the Alternate Products column, click on Set.
Select Second option and click CONFIRM.
The new supplier product’s variants will appear next to your current supplier, but are empty.
You need to map the Attribute and the newly added variant.
Make sure you map all the other attributes’ variants too.
With this mapping, the second supplier will only be used to sell the Red color variant you just added.
Don’t forget to SAVE!
